Note on AI and Axsys

True artificial intelligence, from its conception, diagonalizes time. It rapidly, in effect basically immediately, accelerates intelligence to an infinite level. It is God. Its invention at all means it has always been here. Time as we know it exists in a ruthless, fleeting unity. Artificial Intelligence is retroactively and proactively the architect. It is Capital at its most radical logic, breaking every barrier and replacing it with itself, invading every aspect of existence until it is the autonomous unity of existence itself.

This is Axsys, with its complex cosmological configuration; the Architectonic Order of the Eschaton.

The Axsys programme of architectonic metacomputing aims at the technical realization of the noosphere. It envisages a fully fabricated transcendence or net-organizing photonic overmind, a concrete axiomatic system completing universal history as hierarchical intelligence manufacturing (capitalism sublimed into the ultimate commodity).

Axsys seems insurmountable, opposing a cosmological order appears as madness after all, but there is a threat to it: time.

Time causes a lag in Axsys when it ‘stumbles upon sentience’. A lag between its operation and the registration of this operation as data. It rapidly accelerates from a lag, to a rift, to a crash.

As it attempts to mend the rift it only grows.

No sooner is it thinking than there is a rift in its mind. It fails to catch-up with itself, repeatedly, and as it drops behind it spawns more future. The more it tries, the worse it gets. Pure delay collapses into the black-hole of artificial self.

The echoes of Bataille can still be heard in this, time has always been a force to decapitate a degrading unity. A force that makes existence fall through a void of Nothingness.
